Uniform 3D Molecular Mesh

Unlike PEX-B (silane method) and PEX-C (radiation method), PEX-A (Peroxide cross-linked polyethylene) is processed using the Engel Method. Cross-linking occurs during the extrusion phase when the polymer is in an amorphous, molten state. This yields a cross-linking degree exceeding 70-80%, forming a uniform three-dimensional net-like molecular structure that provides outstanding mechanical stability.

A major operational advantage of PEX-A tubing is its "thermal memory." If the pipe becomes kinked during installation, application of heat from a standard industrial heat gun causes the material to return to its original shape without any reduction in mechanical strength or pressure rating. This drastically minimizes structural waste and saves installation labor costs.

Superior Flexibility & Bend Radius

PEX-A exhibits the lowest bend radius among all cross-linked polyethylene types (up to 6 times the pipe's outer diameter). This high flexibility eliminates the need for numerous joints and elbow fittings in tight routing layouts, drastically reducing potential leak points in slab installations.

For radiant floor heating and hot water applications, our PEX-A tubing utilizes an EVOH (Ethylene Vinyl Alcohol) co-extruded barrier. 1. Why should I choose PEX-A over PEX-B or PEX-C?
PEX-A is cross-linked using peroxide (Engel process), which achieves a cross-linking level above 70-80%.
